Annerley Branch helps out with Clean Up Australia Day

Members of the Annerley Branch were out in force recently, assisting with the annual Clean Up Australia Day at Poinciana Park, Moorooka.

With a record number of members helping with this years effort, the Branch was able to make a significant contribution to the 7 March event.

"Members have definitely responded in a positive way to this years call for help", Branch Secretary Rod Beisel said.

"Because of the extra number of people, from the Branch and the general community, we were able to cover more ground and clean a wider area than last year".

Also on hand to help out were local elected representatives, Graham Perrett, Member for Moreton, Simon Finn, Member for Yeerongpilly, and Steve Griffiths, Councillor for the Ward of Moorooka (pictured).
