No hostility on the ground: local booth captains

SPECIAL REPORT: Polling booths across Annerley, Fairfield and Tarragindi, which span the federal seats of Griffith and Moreton, are reporting a generally quiet mood, with no significant hostility being expressed by voters.

A mid afternoon sms report given by local booth captains reveal that most voters were not voicing any real anti-government sentiment, although it is expected that the Greens will increase their primary vote.

Booth captains were also clear in their feedback that, overall, Labor was certainly matching the Opposition on the ground in terms of its human resources.

It is expected that Labor will retain most, if not all, of its local booths in the Annerley area.
